Happy National School Bus Driver Appreciation Day to the incredible individuals who safely transport our students every day!

School bus drivers are often the first smile students see in the morning and the last goodbye in the afternoon. They build relationships, create a sense of safety, and play a vital role in the daily rhythm of our schools.

Rain or shine, early mornings and long routes, their dedication does not go unnoticed. Thank you for your patience, care, and commitment to keeping our students safe.

This summer academy may interest students who want to pursue a trade-focused career post-high school. The academy is available for students aged 14-17. 

TCCTC masonry students put in a new flagpole at the Tazewell High School softball field! They did an amazing job! 🇺🇸

We would like to thank the carpentry students at TCCTC under the direction of Mr. Roberts who helped build new steps to the Bulldog Press Box.

Tazewell High School's Swim Team was recognized this week at the school board meeting for their strong performance at the state swim meet. Tristan Williams placed 8th in the 500 freestyle and 9th in the 100 freestyle. Maddie Sawyers placed 7th in both the 200 and 500 freestyle events.
Maddie Sawyers, Maddie Nunley, Isabella Akers, and Amber O'Quinn finished 16th in the 200 freestyle relay.
Congrats to the THS swimmers on a great season!

The THS Indoor Track Team was recognized by the school board this week. Drake Young placed 2nd in the 3200m and 6th in the 1600. Leah Keene placed 6th in the Triple Jump. Leah is also the THS nominee for the prestigious Gene “Pappy” Thompson Award given by the Bristol Herald Courier. Congrats! 🎉

Parents of rising 7th and 12th graders, please view the flyer below for the dates and locations of our Spring Clinics. The vaccines offered at the clinics are mandatory for public school attendance in Virginia. Required: 7th graders - Tdap booster, 1st dose of MenACWY (meningococcal), and HPV (only one that can be opted out of by parents) 12th graders - 2nd dose of MenACWY (meningococcal) All consent forms should be returned to the schools by April 13th, 2026!
